I have a 1997 Toyota Camry Le. It has the two in one Cd player/ Cassette player. There are two plugs in the back. The wiring harness set. I want to just wire to wire them instead of harness to new cd player. I think it has an amp because I bought a wiring harness before and it doesn't fit. My care has many more wires. So reason I just want to just connect wire to wire. If anyone knows what color goes where I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks.

The one with the rem tag at the back should possibly be it. Although I still advise you to consult the box or manufacturers wiring guide.
I won't recommend attaching it to the live side of a cigarette lighter because some products might get burned doing so, but some do work with this method...

CD out - left and right. This should be all you have unless it's a CD player/ recorder.

I a '83 camry, there are 2 seperate plugs that go into a factory radio.
One for Power/and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.
Sounds as if you are missing part of the harness for the rear speakers (or it is shoved in the back of the dash unused by the previous install). If there is not an un-cut plug in the dash - your only course of action would be to run your own set of speaker wire to the rear.
See this picture... these are the plugs that should go into your factory radio....
Metra kit 71-1938 will go from your factory wiring directly into your factory radio.
Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated for my effort in answering this Freebie question.

Yes, you can. This is a standard "DIN" opening. Width and height are specified; but not depth. The plastic empty space tray immediately below the radio - actually make this a "2 Din space"
If you are electrically savy - carefully remove the black trim bezel (two hidden fasteners in the middle section and a couple at the bottom; and a hidden white plastic tab buried way in the back at the bottom - need a long screwdriver to release - accessed only after removing the ash-tray...
I am not aware of any pre-existing wire harness adapter...
Electrically savy - get the above out - and then measure the available depth. You can get several molex connectors from Radio Shack, and cut the current wires - and put connectors on them - so that you can reconnect the original factory radio easily. Unplug those, and make molex fittings going to the wiring for your new radio connecting to the molex you put on the factory wiring.
I'm currently looking at putting in a satellite navigation radio with screen, dvd player, etc. into my 1988 Camry which I've owned since new. Only new car we ever bought.... Good luck.
