SOURCE: 2005 chevy colorado runs rough and gets bad gas mileage.

Sounds like it needs spark plugs and wires, and a fuel system treatment.

SOURCE: cylinder 4 misfire on a 2000 crown victoria interceptor

first cylinder 4 is the last on the passenger side . first pull the coil out and check if there is water where the plug is. if there is take the water out and dry up the coil. if you find water you got a crack manifold or a bad intake manifold gasket. if there is no water replace the coil. good luck

SOURCE: 2000 CIVIC System too lean Cylinder 3 and 4 misfire Deteced

  1. P0171: This means that the oxygen sensor has detected a lean air-fuel ratio. This can be caused due to a vaccuum leak or a problem in the HO2S circuit or the HO2S (Heated Oxygen Sensor) itself. (Bank one Sensor one). This is commonly located along the exhaust pipe. It could also be a bad Mass Air Flow sensor or a bad Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. Diagnostic checks will be needed to be carried out to be verified though
  2. Well as for the other codes, it means #3&4 cylinders are misfiring. It is a possibility that the P0171 code mite have caused the others to show up. I can be wrong though. But it is a strong possibility. If the air fuel mixtue is too lean indeed, mis-firing will occur, unless it is an actual electronic and not a mechnical problem. By the way, when these codes appear, how is the engine's performance. Does it remain the same or behaves poorly?

SOURCE: 2006 RAV4 V6 multiple cylinder misfire, VSC, check engine and sli

You need a scanner to pull out the engine light codes.
Use a shopu manual to aid you with the diagnosis and repair.
The slip indicator and vsc light being on means these systems are not working. Once you pull the codes and do the repair and erase the codes the lights will go off.
There will be a code in there for the misfiring.
Good luck and keep me posted.

I have changed the plugs and wires ignition coil and cleaned the fuel injectors on my chevy aveo 2006 and it still had misfire codes on cylinder 2 and 3. what could it be? My check engine light burned out...

Try to disconnect the positive terminal on the battery for a minute to reset th computer. If the codes come back, then there is still a problem which usually is ignition or fuel (or bad O2 sensor). The car could run fine with a sputtering fuel injector but give misfire codes. If injectors don't give out a mist the cylinder doesn't burn the fuel all the way. If you replaced the ignition coil pack then get the injectors cleaned professionally or rebuilt.

If the injectors aren't working at peak capacity, then the air/fuel ratio will be off and the O2 sensor will try to compensate for the richness or leanness of the ratio by adding more fuel or cutting it. That could show up as a misfire.
SO you might have to go to a mechanic and have them check fuel pressure and test the fuel injectors for good spray pattern
