I have a 2005 Crown Vic Interceptor with the 4.6L
The car will start then die out suddenly. The fuel pump will run and prime up to pressure. The car will start briefly even if you try to give it throttle.
Any ideas?
It did throw the check engine light, but I have been unable to get it scanned.
Have you checked the fuel filter. Fuel pump will pressure up, but fuel filter could be clogged and not work without the pressure of the fuel pump.
yes i sure have the theives cacked the copper ring around the ignition now she wont talk back
so will i b able to start my car with the copper ring busted turn my alarm off will that work

2005 crown vic police int wife was driving then suddly nothing car costed to stop.
car wants to turn over but no fuel-so replaced fuel filter-still no fuel checked fuses-ok-replaced fuel pump (new harness sending unit the works) car sonds like wants to start but nothing?
i am at a loss as i also hecked relays as i was told to-still nothing-also cked kill switch in trunk by unpluging and using a jump wire and noting
please help if possible as we 9family) have no running car

I put just a cold air filter on my 05 crown vic police interceptor and now it runs rough and check engine light on. it still has sensor on it.
