Is it water or coolant? if it's just rain water, open passenger door and check around door frame for any holes that the rubber seals should be in are unplugged. if so just plugg them back in. also open hood and check area right below windshield, there should be a rubber strip the lenth of the window, make sure it's press firmly down. look down further to see if any holes where rain can get in, if so plug them up. if it's coolant, it's probably a heater hose . good luck

Why has water started leaking on driver side floor in front of brake pedal?

Could be heater leaking, especially if it smells like antifreeze.
Also could be front windshield seal leaking. Or some seal
on the engine side of the fire wall leaking.

Fan switch does not work

Check the fuse. Second there is a resister array some where in the heater box normally somewhere you can get to it, look under dash on pasiger side or behind the fire wall on the pasenger side. This array moduel has a tiny fuse within it check it with a continulalty checker

The trunk is leaking rain into the interior

buy some foam spray from a can spray it around trunk seam bottom not trunk lid. close trunk to let it dry and shape foam. also check for any holes in trunk. remove all padding to look for wholes. spray foam into any holes found. this foam can also be trimmed after it dries and hardens.

Coolent leak on fire wall in engine compartment on pasnger side

Hi , if you lift up your passenger side floor carpet and check underneath if there any coolant. If it`s dry you know the leak is in the engine bay ,if it`s wet could be either inside or outside of the firewall. In the engine bay check the hose clamps on both side of the hose if you can tight them or if one a those spring clamps try to reposition them. If you have hose clamp right at the firewall then you can easily change the hoses otherwise you have to access it from under or worst case behind the dash. Hope that helps.

What is causing water to collect in my floorboard?

I think i may be able to help. First check to see if the water has a sweet smell. If so its antifreeze and your heater core "located under the dashboard on pasenger side" has failed. The antifreeze will leak out and drain to various plsces on floor. If the water is only water then chances are that one of your hood gaskets that suround the hood hinge support has failed. hope this helpes and good luck.
