My Accord V6 '99 has over 215,000. You can use synthetic transmission oil if its zr1 compatible. I change mine every 60,000 or so. Its 3 qts for the v6. The nissan maximas are the ones that have transmissions that generally dont last past 120,000 miles. Why do you still see many 98 and 99 accords still on the road Carlos?
If yours went at 70,000 than you need to buy a haynes manual and keep up with the maintenance on your car. By the way. Honda Accords are notorious for running fine after 200,000 miles. The parts are easy access and if you use a cheap obd2 scanner you can zero in on any problem with the car.

GO TO AUTO PARTS STORE TELL THEM TYPE CAR YOU DRIVING TELL THEM YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.THEY WILL LOOK UP THE FLUID YOU NEED BECAUSE YOU CAN USE THEIR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID AND THE HONDA ALSO.

Engine oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles Trans about every 2 years

Spark plugs and wires, coolant flush, transmission fluid, check the brakes, check belts, oil change,check coolant hoses, check air filter and cabin air filter

If it's automatic, drain the trans fluid and clean the magnetic drain bolt. Remove and clean the screens on the two solenoids on the front of the transmission. Honda does NOT recommend flushing your transmission with any solvents. Refill to the correct level according to your owner's manual.

If it's a manual transmission, change your gear oil in the transmission according to your owner's manual and hope it's not your synchros.

The fluid in the transmission has to be changed along with the filter just like youe engine oil, only not as frequently. Have your transmission fluid and filter serviced and see if this helps. A qualified technician can tell from the old fluid if there is internal transmission damage.

i would start with an oil change for the transmission this should help, the oil should be changed about every 30,000 miles, if that doesnt help try some trans x, it helps automatic transmissions shift better
