When I insert a CD, purchased or burned, into the single CD player on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 stock cd player I get and error message. The CD loads, you can hear it spin and then it ejects the CD>

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum, CD stopped playing no light's, not showing anything can't eject or turn on. Radio works.

Hello. It seems the CD segment of your radio is at fault/burnt out. The radio/CD player has to be removed and replaced with another one; or have that one repaired. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Cds are stuck in the default cd player of 2001 Dodge Intrepid. How do I get them out?

The first step is turning the car off. Then before turning the key back on, push and hold the Eject button then turn the ignition on. If the CD fails to eject then you can use a old CD and try to insert it into the CD Player, just as it try's to take your second CD pull it out and hit the Eject button again. This will usually get a Dodge CD player to Eject.
If this fails then the CD player must be removed and a manual eject can be performed.

Can't get a CD to eject on my '05 RAM 1500 RBK Radio

We have tried several of the solutions offered. (i.e. holding eject button down several seconds and then pressing again; inserting another CD into slot 1.5 " and using eject button at same time; pulling the fuse on the radio and waiting 10 minutes w/o using key in ignition and then reinstalling fuse. NONE of these worked. There's a certain amount of satisfaction to "fixing" a problem on one's own, BUT nothing we read about and tried worked. Since we bought the 2005 RAM just last week, we're going to take the problem back to the Dealer to fix. THANKS.

My Dodge RAM Car CD will play OK, but won't eject.

If this a CD with a paper label, sometimes they will peel up on the edge and not allow the CD to eject or in same cases the CD is slightly warped.
One thing you might try is this..... Get a flash light and try and look into the CD slot when the radio is trying to eject. There is a black felt type material that you can lift up slightly and if you can see the disc edge trying to come out it may look like it is very slightly too high and getting caught. You can take a business card and try and slide it above the CD edge from the side and this will get the edge of the CD to come down and eject. This has worked many times for me anyway.

2005 dodge ram 1500 cd issues

If it does the same thing with other CD's then the mechanism inside the radio will need repaired. The dealer can send it out to be repaired or you might ask if the have a "take out" unit of the same model when another cuatomer may have upgraded their system.
