SOURCE: I have a 2004 landrover discovery, where is the

As a Land Rover Tech I can tell you that it is true that there is no filter on the series2 there is a small screen at the bottom of the pump pickup that acts as a filter,If you feel this is clogged you can remove the pump by pulling up the rear cargo area carpet as recommended above then just use break clean to clean the screen.Make sure you replace the pump gasket as a faulty gasket will cause a check engine light and a little trick I use is to put a small amount of vaseline on the gasket to ease installation. Also a quick note on series 1 filters is that the lines usually cease up causing the connections to break or damage when removing.I highly recommend getting the repair kit available at the dealer or rovers north before attempting to replace the filter . BUT IN REGULAR 2004 lan-drover discovery there is fuel filter located. Removing the fuel filter The fuel filter is located on bulk head, to left hand side of the engine.
1: Start by cleaning the area around the filter head.2: Place a container beneath the fuel filter to catch any spillage.3: Loosen the bleed screw using a 10mm spanner4: Unscrew the drain tap on the bottom of the filter until the fuel starts coming out into your the container.5: Once all the fuel is drained from the filter, unscrew the whole filter assembly.

Fitting the new fuel filter 6: Clean the seal & seating on the new filter.7: Put a small amount of fuel around the rubber seal to lubricate it.8: Screw the new filter onto the filter head and tighten by hand.10: Tighten the bleed screw.11: You can now crank the engine until fuel is drawn through the system and the engine starts.Job done!

This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

Where is the location of the 2012 Chevy impala shift solenoid

The shift solenoid on a 2012 Chevrolet Impala is located inside the transmission. It is typically located near the top of the transmission, near the shift lever. In order to access the shift solenoid, you will need to lift the vehicle and remove the transmission pan. The shift solenoid is usually mounted on the side of the transmission and is connected to the transmission control module or the transmission valve body.

It is important to note that the location of the shift solenoid can vary depending on the specific model and year of your Chevrolet Impala. If you are not familiar with automotive repair and are unsure how to locate the shift solenoid, it is recommended that you seek the help of a professional mechanic.

Where is the shift selanoid located on a 1997 Lexus ls400 ?

It's located inside the transmission so you'll have to drop the transmission pan for access. The attached document goes over removing the pan and identifies the solenoid.

Location of shift solenoid

If your talking about the shift solenoids in the transmission, they are located on the valve body and will require removal of the transmission cover. If your talking about the BTSI (brake transmission shift interlock solenoid this is located on the shifter module.

Brake shift interlock switch

Since you have mentioned "Park" in the problem, this says that you are driving a vehicle with an automatic transmission. The shift level of an automatic transmission vehicle starting 1990 (and a few years earlier) have a shift lever locking switch/servo that also activates when depressing the brake pedal when shifting out of "P" position on the lever.
There should be an override port/hole where you can disengage the shift lever from Park, located around the base plate of the shift lever. Use this only so you can drive to a service center where they can replace the transmission lock switch/servo; or you can repair/replace the part with some serious elbow grease as this means removing many parts and covers to get to the transmission lock switch/servo.
Hope this helps.

Code Reader reads Shifter Solenoid Stuck or Off

The Shift solenoids are located in the transmission oil pan. I would recommend replacing both shift solenoids while you're in there. Also replace the filter and pan gasket. The shift solenoids are located towards the rear of the valvebody and will be identical to each other. They are held in place by a retaining clip which is easily removed with a small screwdriver or similar tool. Care must be taken as parts may fly out of the bore when the solenoids are removed. Hope this helps.
