Can't find crankshaft position sensor on my 1997 chrysler cirrus with 2.5 liter engine

The crank sensor should be found at the front by the crank pully. it is bolted to the engine wuth a wire connection plug on it.

when looking at the left hand side of the engine ( from the front or belt side ) it would usually be down on the block to the side of the crankshaft damper pulley and 4-5 inches back from the front of the engine.
