Chevy Cavalier 2001 turn signal blinks fast

My front left turn signal started blinking fast and the back left blinker stopped working. The bulb was changed and the socket was checked. How can I fix the signal lights?

If new bulbs don't work, it is probably the harness that holds the bulb. I had to replace both on my car after fighting with the problem for over a year and not knowing.

Did you check the back turn signal light as well. it could have burnt out the bulb as well. or have a bad connection. or you will probably have to replace the blinker . It is connected to a plug underneath the dashboard. make sure it is the same as the original.

Left blinker is fast front blinker light working left rear blinker light not working.

When a turn signal bulb is blinking fast, it is an indicator that a bulb is bad in the system. Replace the left rear turn signal bulb, then see if the left front blinker has gone back to normal. This is most likely your problem. Let me know if it is still a problem and i will help you fix it. Good luck

Hi, My left blinker is blinking fast however my right blinker is fine. What would cause this?

It sounds like you may have a burned out turn signal bulb somewhere on the left side. A bad electrical connection can also cause this, but I would check the bulbs first.

I hope this helps! :)

Fast Blinker

Usually a fast turn signal means that there is a light out. You should probably check all of your lights, including back-up lights, and turn signals. If there is one out then replacing the burnt out bulb should fix the problem.
