Question about 1998 Plymouth Breeze
Went to start car it would not start , put the shifter thru all positoins clicked a couple times then started turned it off tried again blew a fuse replaced the fuse and no start no dash lights show except shifter position light and brake light battery is good starter two years old ( replaced it cause it keppt blowing fuses)put car in neutral and pushed car forward tried again no start and all shifter positions had squares that indicate shifter position around them like the shifter was in every position at the same time
Try to find another vehicle. It is costing you too much time and trouble 1998 it is nearly 20 years old.

If you keep popping fuses everytime you try to start the car, you have a bare hot wire grounding out somewhere. That will cause the fuse to pop everytime you turn the key on. the best way to fix it is if you know someone who is good with electrical wires. Have them pull the fuse panel out and follow the wire until they find where the wire is bare. Have them fix that bad spot and that should fix your problem.

The fuse keeps blowing out because there is a short circuit. Check the tailight sockets for corosion. Is there a tow package wiring installed?

Try finding someone to help ya on this procedure. While another person tries to start it, lightly hit the starter and see if it starts to work. If it does start working, then the starter is defective. If it dont start cranking over then check your battery cables for damage, lose or corrosion. Good luck.
