1995 Jag 6 litre V12 / Misfire / No power

I got the car 6 months ago and it always ran great. It gets driven very little and has 62000 miles. When my wife started it one afternoon it sounds decent but has no power. There was a very light misfire in the right exhaust, and I noticed a light mettalic glimmer coming from the same exhaust. When a held my hand behind the exhaust I could actually see the particles on my hand. Very tiny, almost microscopic. I held my hands behind both exhaust tips and the right exhaust seemed to have noticably lighter pressure. I assumed the cat. converter was clogged. I let it run to operating temp and the secondary converter (front right)seemed hotter than the rest. I removed it and poked out the honeycomb for testing. It was in fact clogged.The pressure seemed to equalize between the duals but the misfire/loss of power are still there, and it brought the check engine light on. I don't see the discharge anymore, but naturally its smoking a little out that bank. I couldn't access the primary converter or silencer because they are welded stainless (they are both behind what Jag calls the secondary converter). I'm assuming that they are probably clogged also either from the age or particles from the front cat. I have to cut them to clear the system for testing. I was going to do both sides to try out my diagnosis before I bought any expensive replacement Jag parts. I haven't had time to move along any further but thats my plan for the holiday. Since a few days went by now I'm questioning my judgement. I was also thinking maybe fuel filter or maybe cap / pick-ups. I was going to do these as normal maint. anyway but it's always preferable doing pleasure wrenching as opposed to necessity wrenching. My random sampling of sparkplugs looked good. Should I get it hooked up to the anylizer to get that code? Also can it be hooked to any high end anylizer or do I have to go to Jag? I'm really trying to avoid the Jag dealer (not in my budget). Any good advice would really help me out, probably save me a lot of time also.Thank you.
