Our 1999 Toyota Camry brake lights are out. It seems that somehow the brake lights are affected by the tail light bulbs. So I change the tail ligh bulbs and 15a fuse relating to the "stop" lights in the fuse box located behind the ash tray......this only fixed the problem temporarily, when the light on the panel came on showing the bulbs were blown again. The bulbs get very hot....and it smells like something is burning... But, the bulbs and the fuses do not look blown. I think it must be a problem with the short in the wiring... How do I find out? I've changed the small bulbs in the rear lights several times.... If it is a short in the wiring...where would you start? Thanks
Likely there is a short circuit in the bulb socket of one of the bulbs that does not turn on
