Car sat all winter after a bout with intermittent shut down when warm just quit, then after cool down about 1-2 hr start right back up. There was no battery installed. Now I replaced the fuel pump and ordered a new fuel pump relay. Now I have a no spark condition and I can't hear the fuel pump run either. Car will now turnover and get no fire do I change the crank sensor first or take it to the dealer? Does the onboard computer need to be reprogramed? This is just a hoopty car to get back and forth and don't want to spend alot of $$$$$$ on it.

I'd check the key at the dealership. The battery may be flat in it. Also have the key code match to the CPU checked. The security may be the problem or it may be an electical fault such as sticky starter motor brushes or a dead segment in the starter motor amature.

on the 2.7 the fuel pressure regulater is prone to leaking, worth checking it out

does the crank sensor control the ignition modual if the sensor is bad will not let the ignition work. without help I guess my next step is to buy the ign coils and then go on from there.
got it figured out changed the fuel pump relay and crankshaft sensor don't know which one fixed it but happy that it is running
