Having the same problem with my 03 Accord. You need the 'radio' code to unlock it. I had an idiot friend in my car who tried about 3 different codes, then I got the correct code and inputted in on the fourth try but it won't let me in still and it now says Err5...

The reset code is posted on the left or right hand side of the glove compartment. Open and enter the code on the audio controls (numbers).

1999 Honda Accord CD player gives POE cerror and will not work. Radio is fine.

Alot of your factory CD players will give you problems and codes such as the one you are talking about. Sometimes simply going out and buying a CD cleaner will solve the problem, but more times then not the motor that spins the CD goes bad and if thats the case nothing can be done except replacing the CD player. I hope this helps you out, and if you have and other questions please feel free to ask.

I changed the battery in my 2002 Honda Accord. Now the radio and cd player won't work. The word "code" comes across. I need help Laura

try looking in your owners papers it might be listed in there or a sticker in the glove box, if not then you will have to contact the dealer parts department to get the code to reset the radio you will also have to show proof of ownership.

Replaced battery. Need code to reset radio. '99

You can usually find the code on the bottom side of the ash tray, if your car has one. Or you can may have to pull the radio. It should be stamped on it somewhere.

'03 Honda Accord won't recognize CD player after battery replaced

I have a crv also. the audio system has an anti-theft mechanism, to deter thieves from stealing your cd player/radio. you need a code to turn your unit back on, usually a four or five digit code, that should have been provided when you bought the vehicle. If you don't have it, the unit will come back on after, and only after a full, uninterupted hour of driving.
