Saab traction control failure - 2005 Saab 9-3 2.0

Assuming the battery is ok, no electricity is reaching the car circuits. First thing I would check is to make sure that your battery connections are good and tight. Next item is the battery properly grounded to chassis? If so, they you will have to get a schematic to trace the wiring and see just where the flow of electricity can be interrupted.

It means you are not driving your Saab.

It's gone into "limp home mode"

Hi there:First I suggest recharge battery, start car, check voltage across battery should be around 14.5, if not alternators gone.

The stability control system uses the abs wheel speed sensors to detect when a wheel is losing traction and would presumably apply the brake on that wheel to maintain traction.

The system is the Vauxhall (GM's British operation) version of a traction control system further refined by Saab's engineers.

Stability control failure means the system will no longer be available to assist the driver maintain traction.

If there isnt a button that you can push to turn it off, you cant.

The abs light , when on turns off the traction control thats why that light is on,once the abs is repaired the traction light will go out, you need to first have the computer scanned for codes, the codes for the abs are stored in the abs computer, these codes will tell you what part of the system is not working. most of the time its a wheel speed sensor but scanning the codes is needed to find out,

you will have to take the car to a dealer and have it scaned. youve have a sencer gone bad or one of the computer gone bad ok .sorry for the bad news
