Porsche 79 911 cruise control won't hold speed. Leaks down slowly.
SOURCE: cruise control quit working. won't
Problems like this is really hard to troubleshoot from a sentence but I'll give it my best shot. A mechanic will typically check all the cruise control related fuses.....then relays. After these steps, it can go on and on. There's a good chance it's the fuses though. Good Luck =)
SOURCE: Cruise control not working properly
Check the brake switch below the brake pedal. It may think the brake is being pressed if that switch is not working properly. Also check for vacuum hose leak or damage in the same area.
SOURCE: My td4 freelander 2001. wont accelerate when i try to speed
I Had this simalar proble with my 2002 TD4 this was caused by stuck tubo vanes and a replacement turbo was required, But the cause of this is a small oil filter *(size of a cotton reel) situated near the injectors in a plastic housing that gets oil saturated and then passes oil throught to the turbo and burns (you can also get a slight sweet smell out of the exghaust at tick over when hot)
SOURCE: how do i trouble shoot the cruise conrtol? cruise

SOURCE: cruise control will not hold
What are telling, for me is the diafrag of the servo of the cruise control, this one is located under the hood.
