Engine dies when you turn left - Mirage Mitsubishi Cars & Trucks

check for broken engine mount that has a ground wire across it
check for loom wires that move when the engine moves

check battery connection also check the carb float or fuel level problem

check for a loose or bad ground wire,could even be corroded at the battery terminal,

check for engine mount problems shorting out wires when turning left
could be a bad ground but blowing fuses indicates bare wires

No reason!!! If there was no reason-- it would work just fine

How about a worn out fuel pump that quites when it feels
like it?

Try getting your throttle position sensor (TPS) replaced.

I would say that the problem is going to be under the hood in the steering somewhere. Not in the steering column. Check to make sure that the tie rods are not pulling or pinching a wire.

sounds like something broke inside steering rack and now is jaming it, start there.

If you were to turn the ignition off when you are driving it would do the same thing. My guess is that a critical ignition wire is either shorting or coming loose when inertia exists through your left turn.

In park turn the wheel all the way to the left. Did the car die? Try wiggling the red wires connecting through the starter, battery, and such with the engine running. Also try wiggling the wires through the steering column to the ignition.
