There is a fuse panel on the drivers side under the steering wheel on the left as well as under the bonnet (hood) in a small black box labeled....fuses.

you have to remove the bulbs from inside of the hood in the engine compartment. in some cars you have to remove some "pins' and remove the entire headlight assembly.. You then remove the holder where the lightbulb is located and replace the bulb.

SOURCE: 2006 Nissan Altima LH driver

you will find another fuse block under hood near windshield washer fill neck.remove the cover and it will show the location of headlamp fuses.most likely is a blown fuse.

Testimonial: "Thanks...I was looking inside the cover for a diagram, only to notice it was on the outside of the cover after removing the dirt. Fuse was bad."

Left headlight

If the other head light works ,it won't be a fuse

Check every fuse in the car, won't take long &
the fuses will protect a complete circuit, not just
a couple head lights.

The light switch has a circuit breaker not a fuse.

Have you removed & tested the lamp it'self

No owners manual? Need that for fuses & bulbs/lamps

I replaced the blown driverside headlight bulb with a new one in my 2005 nissan altima and the new bulb still does not work. Could this be a fuse problem, and if so where is the fuse located that controls...

Try this. right in front of the alternator is a black box. take the cover off and look at it inside and undeneath there is a diagram of fuses and relays. look down at the fuse block you just uncovered anfd you will see the fuses. there should be one labeled on the cover for "Head L/F and Head R/F".

check those and see if that works.

No low beam head lights

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.

If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.
