-You mean you see oil inside the radiator. ? If so then head gasket is blown or may be the head is cracked. Now water and oil are mix together.
-Do compression test to find out. If no compression then it need to be rebuild.

Good luck

SOURCE: 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante is overheating. Oil

the symptoms are that you have a burnt head gasket, its consuming the water into the cylinders and at the same time it builds combustion pressure in the cooling system causing it to overheat, and when it overheats it makes the oil loose viscosity so you loose oil pressure, i recommend not driving the car any more and the first solution is to replace the burnt gasket, and change your oil, go to a local shop and only do these they probably tell you the engine is worn but the problem is what i told you above, make them replace the thermostat unit yes to be sure good luck

SOURCE: the car wont start

You probably blew a headgasket and now there's water in the combustion chamber. It's a condition called hydrolock. You can't compress water and the engine won't turn over. Remove all the spark plugs and try turning the engine over for about 30 seconds. That should blow the water out thru the spark plug holes. Try jumping the battery with another car or get a car battery charger to juice up your battery.

SOURCE: My car overheated yesterday.

thats due to low or no coolant, you shouldnt drive this overheating engine damage will occur, the first thing is to fill the radiator up, and look around for any leaks, if no leaks are seen, then start engine and allow it to warm up, leave cap off at first to top off coolant, after a few minutes install cap and let it run, keep an eye on the temp gauge and also watch for leaks. this problem is due to a coolant leak, maybe a hose is bad or it was low on coolant or you have a bad thermostat, good day.

I have a 2005 Chevy avalanche. A few days ago I driving around with my buddies and my temperature gage was at 260 and light came on saying coolant hot. Pulled into a gas station and let it cool down before...

assuming you didn't put thermostat in upside down, your system may need to be flushed. if radiator is blocked you can feel a cold spot at the blockage when the motor is warm

My escort overheated so added water then i tried to start the car but it wont start, its cranks but it wont start

need add add antifreeze half antifreeze and water to raise coolant boiling point. replace thermostat and radiator pressure cap.wait until engine cool then try starting it up.depends on how long you drove car when engine over heated.if you turn off engine soon as it over heated no harm done.if you kept on driving and engine die of lack of cooling, and car wont crank you could have blown head gasket warped or cracked cylinder head.

Check Coolant Light Came on.

i would first make sure the coolant is somewhat filled and boroow/lend a coolant pressure tester and hopefully a leak will show up externally...if coolant is going missing under coolant test i would strat to suspect a posssible headgasket failure....or water pump plugged rad, plugged heater core....you must investigate it thoroughly!!

Shuddering/jerking on highway, pull over, wont start for 30 mins

Last time I had that happen in a car everything blew. I found out the root of the problem was my timing chain, but I can tell you, you don't want to wait to get that checked out in any case or you will end up with a lot more problems.
