How long have the light been out? Have you checked the fuses?

There is a fix for this on the web. You have to remove the control unit and replace a resistor or capacitor. I did mine and it worked like a charm. Takes a coupla hours. the resistor is less than a dollar.

The lights have been out 2 days. I checked the fuses and they looked good but I didn't actually take them out. I will take them out. I am figuring something blew because the telescoping steering wheel lever does't work either.
Thank you for the advice. To all those you may be having a similar problem or have one in the future. There is a resistor called the final stage that controls the climate control functions. If you are experiencing your fan going on and off or the lights on the controls do not work. It is most likely this problem. The a/c heat resistor needs to be replaced.
