SOURCE: 02 chevy Z71 suburban 5.3ltr doesn't start first turn of the key

Unfortunately, this problem could be caused by a number of things. A fuel pressure regulator is not usually one of them. The fuel pressure regulator will help to, essentially, regulate and change the pressure of the fuel in the fuel rail as the engine RPMs change. This change is usually minor, however, and will not interfere with the initial startup of the vehicle. I can give you a few basic ideas of where to look, I have seen this same problem on other 5.3L motors, but I have also seen it on many other cars as well, and the problems never seem to be consistent. If the truck has had a fresh tune up, and the filters have all been changed (most notably, the fuel filter) then the first thing to look at is going to be the throttle body. On the intake, there is a butterfly valve- if this is all gummed up with carbon or other deposits, clean it! (Note, it is best to wipe down well with a clean cloth, be as gentle as possible. Hold the butterfly valve open by hand or have a friend hold the gas pedal down (with the truck off, of course), and wipe this down thoroughly. You will have to take off the air cleaner and tubing first, in order to reach this. If this doesn't help, you could have a vacuum leak. You could have a bad Throttle Position Sensor, or a bad Mass Air Flow sensor. If your fuel return line is clogged or vapor locked, it will make it harder to start the vehicle. If the fuel pump is putting out sufficient pressure, but not the intial sufficient volume you need, that could also be a problem. There are a LOT of things that could cause this realistically, but the best thing to do is to eliminate the easiest problems one by one. Keep up on the maintenance, routinely check your filters and spark plugs, and DO NOT use cheapo parts. If you determine that it is not a simple failure, or are not comfortable with testing fuel pressure or volume output, checking the intake manifolds for minor vacuum leaks, etc. it may be best to take it to a professional who is trained to do that. Look for a shop in your area with a good reputation, as this isn't just a routine problem, and will take good diagnostic abilities and a skilled technician to fix it.

Thanks for asking!

Testimonial: "Thank You for your help I was hopeful it was simple seeing that it always starts second try when cold & when warm it starts on first Try."

SOURCE: 2003 Chevy SuBurban The windshield wipers will not

It is actually a wiper control module that controls this. I have replaced many of them. It is the cover that is screwed to the wiper gear box. Remove both wiper arms. Remove the plastic cowl cover below the windshield that covers from side to side. Once inside you will see the wiper motor/transmission assy. Disconnect the electrical connector, and remove screws from cover, and replace it.

Where is the cooling fan switch located on my 2005 malibu 3.5liter v6

Cooling fan switch ? The cooling fans (2) on that motor are controlled by three relays . A coolant temp. sensor gives temp info to the PCM - engine computer .
During high speed operation the PCM supplies the ground path for the cooling fan 1 relay through the low speed cooling fan relay control circuit. After a 3 second delay, the PCM supplies a ground path for the cooling fan 2 relay and the cooling fan S/P relay through the high speed cooling fan relay control circuit. This energizes the cooling fan 2 relay coil, closes the relay contacts, and provides a ground path for the left cooling fan. At the same time the cooling fan S/P relay coil is energized closing the relay contacts and provides battery positive voltage from the cool fan 2 fuse on the cooling fan motor supply voltage circuit to the right cooling fan. During high speed fan operation, both engine cooling fans have their own ground path. The result is a parallel circuit with both fans running at high speed.
The PCM commands Low Speed Fans on under the following conditions:
• Engine coolant temperature exceeds approximately 106°C (223°F).
• When A/C is requested and the ambient temperature is more than 50°C (122°F).
• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 310 kPa (190 psi).
• After the vehicle is shut off if the engine coolant temperature at key-off is more than 140°C (284°F) and system voltage is more than 12 volts. The fans will stay on for approximately 3 minutes.
The PCM commands High Speed Fans on under the following conditions:
• Engine coolant temperature reaches 110°C (230°F).
• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 655 kPa (240 psi).
• When certain DTCs set .

2003 suburban with a fan that will not turn off after turning off ignition and taking keys out. still blowing

Could be a bad ignition module (key switch) but more likely than not you fried a relay and your fan relay is providing constant hot to your fan. Swap the relay with another one in your system (or with a spare if you have one).

Is it the engine cooling fan or some type of fan relay switch because my fan stopped working and jeep overheats when idling or at speeds below 30mph while A/C is on.

I would look to the electrical side of the fan operation. You have three basic components to the cooling fan operation...the fan switch, the fan relay, and the fan motor. You need to determine what part of the system is not working. If you can run a 12V jumper wire to the motor and it works you know it must be either the switch or the relay. if you jump out the switch and the fan runs, you know it must be the switch.

2005 chevy equinox do my radiator and condensor

Hello: You may have a cooling fan(s) problem. Start the truck, turn the a/c on max, both fan and a/c control. Open hood the cooling fan(s) should be running. If not then you will need hands on trouble shooting. It could be fan(s) motor(s), relays, relay control, ie PCM, wiring, fuse etc. Systematic hands 0n trouble shooting will be needed with a upscale scan tool.

Would turn the key on no need to start it and unplug the ect engine coolant temp sensor. If fans come on then suspect a faulty etc which may not turn on the engine light. Which engine is in the vehicle so I can help locate the ect which is usually by the thermostat housing.
