Blew 12 volt auxiliary fuse at trailer connector where is it
2005 Suburban Z71 4WD I had similar situation. No 12 volt positive to 7 trailer. Under my hood at the fuse panel, the red 12v + wire was connected to Stud # 1 which is on the left side of fuse box. There is a square fuse right next to this stud. I put a 40 amp fuse in it. I use this power to charge a battery in a trailer as I am hauling.

SOURCE: Where is the fuse located for the 12 volt power on
Hi, the power terminal to the 7 way , is not hooked up from the factory. In order to hook this up, you must locate 2 wires under the hood. The 1st wire, is between the driver fender, and the fuse box. This wire is red , and taped up. Grab hold od this wire, and pull it out of the tape. It has an eyelet on the end of it. The next wire is below the steering column, same scenario, red wire, with an eyelet, pull this out of the tape, route both wires to the front of the fuse box (underhood), take the cover off of the fuse box, you will find 2 silver threaded dtuds on the front of the fuse panel. 1 larger than the other.route these 2 wires to these two studs, and secure with 2 metric nuts. You will have to get these. does not matter which wires go where, as both studs are battery power, and are both fused. the wires will only go on 1 way anyway. after the nuts are tightened, reinstall the cover, and you will have power at the 7 way. Good luck...
SOURCE: how do I get 12 volts at the factory installed trailer connector
You are correct. There is a fuse in the underhood fuse/relay compartment that powers up the pin. It is one of the larger fuses and should be labeled as "AUX". Also check that the power wire is connected to the AUX bolt terminal. They shipped from the factory disconnected and the cable was zip-tied to something below the fuse box.
Testimonial: "I knew there had to be something needed done, I'll check in the morning under the fuse panel for a wire to terminate and see what happens. sounds log"
