2000 buick park ave no dash lights, no tail lights and no front running lights

Every thing was ok, then no dash lights, no front running lights and no tail lights, Seems there is a fuse for the tail lights but the chart also tells me it controls the left and right side seporate and the same fuse also controls the brake and turn signal as well (I have brake and signal lights), ANOTHER thing is when the auto headlight thing takes over, the hvac, odometer, the radio and the gear indicator lights dim real low

SOURCE: The dash lights for odometer and gear indicator is out

maybe but sounds like a couple of lights have burned out,. the owners manual should tell you where the fuse box is located. The dash light for the odometer/gear indicator may be accessible from under the dash, get an auto maintance repair manual from the local auto parts store , perfably a chiltons for about 20.00. It will help u loctae the dash lights and the fuse box more readily.

SOURCE: 1994 buick park ave, wont crank over,

Pass key is the security system which disables the car if it is stolen. You need the remote or a key with a chip to start the car. go to a dealer, prove ownership with registration and they will be able to help you out

SOURCE: 1999 buick century odometer light does not work

this is a common problem and the dash cluster must be removed and sent out for repair, cost is about $175 to replace the LED (Light emitting diode) display that has burned out, this is a faxtory defect as far as this expert is concerned, it is not a fuse problem.

I have a 2000 buick park ave the running lights not working on the left side of the car could this be a fuse under the driver dash.

Probably just the bulb.

  • 27 watts
  • Miniature type
  • Features plastic wedge base with s-shaped design
  • Can be used for turn signal, back up, cornering, daytime running, high mount stop, stop, and tail lights

  • spacer.gifI would suspect the fuse if both lights were out.

2000 park avenue has no dash lights and no tail lights. Brake lights work tho. Spent over $500 so far on this, to no avail.....dealer claims they ran a new wire between front and rear fuse panel, lights...

Take it back to them, don't let them guess what the problem is, hell a shade tree mechanic can do that, and don't pay them anymore money, fix it right. running a wire means there is a broken, shorted, grounded wire, for $500, I would be pissed.

98 Buick Park Ave: Rt turn signal does not work

Hi you may have a poor earth connection to the lights or a wire from the lights is touching the car body or another wire.

Was the relay switch new that you replaced? the one behind the dash?

No dash lights no gauges or any power at dash, car wont start has antitheaft system

Dash lights are tied in to the tail lights, that way you know when the tails lights quit because the dash lights go out. Find the fuse and check it. There's a fuse diagram in the owner's manual. My problem was not a fuse; it was in the elctric regulator (or something like that), which my mechanic had to replace -- about $250 for the part, another $200+ for labor.
