There is no reset switch, you likely have a bad fuel pump, try this use a 2x4 or soft hammer to rap on the fuel tank as someone turns the switch on and off when you hear the pump hum the car will start and run but change the pump immediately. Almost every other problem that occurs in the fuel system will cause the check engine light to come on and it will set a readable code. I hope this helps. Take care.
I don't know what testing you have done? Are you missing anything besides fuel? The fuel pump relay should be in under hood fuse box. Hopefully, the fuse box cover has a legend will give you the location? Your owners manual should have this info. If you don't have an owners manual, my.gm.com should have your owners manual, you can look at it for free. I usually use the index in owners manual, look up page for fuses.
The fuel pump relay is located to the right of the glove box.
After the insulation panel is removed, the fuse/relay panel will be to the right of the glove box. The insulation panel should have a diagram of the fuse/relay panel layout.
the fuel pump relay is located in the fuse compartment behind the glove box. It is the big black fuse on the very top of the fuse compartment right over one that looks just like it.
Yes, it is usually 25 amp (Yellow). There is also, a relay for the pump. Most of the fuses are under the dash...you can check your owners manual to see exactly where the fuse panel is located. The relays are under the hood. If the relay is working properly, you will feel a clicking motion while letting someone else turn the ignition on, but don't attempt to turn it to start the engine since this will cover the noise that you are listening for. If you need to know which relay is for the fuel pump, you can ask at the Auto store. They should be able to help. If the relay isn't clicking, you can tap it lightly with a screwdriver handle to get it to work; however, if the pump isn't running and is original; it is most likely bad and some test needs to be done to confirm that before taking the pump out.
Believe the AC compressor Relay is located on the left side of the Fuse block inside the passenger kick panel. Exact location is in your owners manual.
Fuel pump relay is inside of the Engine Fuse block under the hood on the passenger side. Locations are written inside of the lid.
1985 buick somerset regal with 4 cyl. feul pump relay is mounted near back of passenger side strut tower top. if you are in front of vehicle it should be the right hand relay of the two.
