How do I replace the passenger side headlight bulb on a 2008 Mitsubishi Colt and is it a difficult job?

Probably a quick and straightforward process:
Go to local parts store to get replacement bulb. If it is the type that fits into a holder, continue.........
- Open hood
- Look at back of bad headlight
- Wire will go to Back of light to bulb holder
- Twist holder counter clockwise to remove
- Pull out old bulb
- Insert new bulb
- Reverse rest of process.

How do I replace the headlight assembly MN133516

The 2003 Outlander utilizes replaceable (9007) headlight bulbs. If you're looking to replace the bulb(s);
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the plastic cover at the rear of the headlamp assembly by rotating it counterclockwise, and pulling it off. This will allow access to the headlight bulb.
3. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise in order to remove it from the headlamp assembly. Pull the old bulb out of the socket, and use a clean cloth to install the replacement bulb. Do not touch the glass of the new bulb.
4. Place the socket back into the assembly, and twist it clockwise. Reattach the plastic cover, and close the hood.
Are you needing DIY instructions for replacing the entire headlamp assembly? Left (driver) or Right (passenger)?

How do you replace the front turn signal on a 2005 Buick Terraza?

Changing front, right turn signal on 2005 Buick Terraza: Open hood; when facing the front of vehicle, the right turn signal is on the passenger side (left). The headlight assembly needs to be removed to easily reach the turn signal. On my vehicle, there is a 10 mm screw on the left side. Remove it. There is L-shaped pin on the right side of the headlight assembly. Swing the pin counter-clockwise (to the left). Pull the pin straight up to remove. The headlight assembly is now loose, but there is a pin snapped in a socket on the back of the assembly that still holds the assembly. Pull the headlight assembly hard and straight to the front of the vehicle. When it snaps loose, the assembly is now held just by the rubber gasket surrounding the assembly. You need to gently work the right side of the gasket out of the grill cowling. The assembly should pull straight out. The wires are long enough to lay the headlight assembly in the engine compartment. Finally, the turn signal is now accessible. Twist the light holder counter-clockwise and pull out the light holder. Change the bulb. Do not punch your man-card for credit until you have successfully reinstalled the headlight assembly. It goes back in a little easier the second time. Once you have put the L-pin in place, the screw back, and successfully tested the lights, you can now punch your man-card.

I give the mechanical engineers and designers a D-minus instead of an F only because I was successful on the first try. No light bulb on anything commonly used by people should be this hard to figure out.

How to put in a headlight on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

Hello,
Please follow the stepwise solution carefully.
1.Open the hood and disconnect the truck's negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the grille. Unbolt and remove the plastic panel over the radiator, then use a flat screwdriver to release the clips securing the grille at the bottom to the headlight panel and lift the grill off.

3.
Pull up the retaining tabs for the headlight housing, which are on opposite ends, and carefully pull the housing out. Remove the park/turn signal bulb socket from the housing by detaching the holders and electrical connectors and disconnect the side marker socket.

4.
Take off the circular access cover from the rear of the headlight housing. Twist the bulb in a counterclockwise direction, withdraw the bulb with its electrical connector from the housing and disconnect the electrical connector.

5.
Hold the new bulb by the holder--do not touch the glass--as you connect the electrical connector. Place the bulb in the housing and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Close the access cover.

6.
Install the headlight housing into the panel, connecting the electrical connectors, signal bulb socket and side marker socket. Push the retaining tabs in place.

7.Reinstall the grille and plastic radiator panel and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Problem solved.

Take care.

How to change headlight on 2004 Mercury

When you open the hood you will see a cover where the hood latch is. Some covers have individual doors on each side of the hood latch. If you have that type just pop the release on the cover and reach down to the headlamp bulb. It comes out with a twist with the socket and then pull the bulb free. Use a kleenex or gloves to install new bulb and reverse the process.

If the whole panel is one piece there are some plastic button holders to remove to lift the cover. Your headlights are underneath. In some cases the passengers side headlight may require removing the battery to access. Then just twist the socket and remove the bulb afterwards, then reverse process.

Replace low beam on 2000 LHS

The headlight housing must be removed to access the bulbs on the back of the housing. HOWEVER!!! you must take loose the bumper on the side you are replacing. To do this you also have to take loose the inner finder and turn you wheel sharply in the opposite direction of the bulb to be replaced. There is a 10mm nut you will have to remove inside as well as multiple plastic fasteners along the inner finder and across the front under the hood. Bulb just twist out to remove once the housing is removed. Also, resist the urge to use a very large hammer. Use caution when pulling the plastic bumper out where the 10mm nut was removed, the stud can easily scratch the paint while working the housing out of its socket.

Headlight replacement

Open the hood, Turn the twist lock sleeve the surrounds the wiring harness end and pull out bulb holder. Pull out old bulb, press new bulb tab into slot, replace unit back into light housing, turn twist lock sleeve to secure to housing.

Dont touch the new bulb with your bare fingers.

Skin oils can heat up on the bulb and cause it to fail.
