SOURCE: I have a 1995 Chevy

Mine did the same thing - not sure if yours is a 5.7 liter or not. Mine is, it's the LT1 engine and has the police package. Not sure if it's the same with the smaller engine, but if it is it could be something leaking over your distributor (water pump, coolant line, leaking oil getting sprayed upwards by the serpentine belt) which is an opti-spark. They are terrible and are labor-intensive to replace. It can be expensive and time-consuming unless you find someone who REALLY knows what they're doing - which isn't easy these days. Look up opti-spark, everyone hates it.

SOURCE: Having problems with 2002 Chevy Silverado staying

It's hard to figure out whats going on with out any codes. Im thinking maybe the fuel pump. To check it after it stops and doe'snt start squirt some starting fluid into the carb and see if it wants to start. If it trys to start then it's a fuel problem.

Sputtered out and now it won't stay running; dies when put in gear.

Mass air flow , crank sensor . I wouldn't discount anything . Having a scan tool that can view engine sensor data would be a great help too , testing fuel pressure and flow and back pressure test the exhaust .

Car starts right up but 2 seconds dies, u can start it right up again & it dies again, won't run. has good spark & fuel pressure good when dies

You are on the right track by finding the injector pulse missing.
The computer grounds the injectors based on signals from the cam and crank sensors. You may have to use a scanner to check for trouble codes in the computer and watch the sensors work.
The problem could also be a relay or the key switch.

I have a 1988 Dodge Dynasty that acts like it's vapor locking.

yes fuel pump is dying (it's old ) it will finnaly give up the ghost some day soon then engine won't run at all

common problem pump heats up and shuts off cools off and runs again cyclic

this all assumes you have kept up on changing the fuel filter at reg intervals too

Starts then dies & won't restart

check fuel pressure, should be 40 psi.
try 2 things

spray starting fluid in air intake to see if it will stay running. It's fue then.

Try turning key to on nd wait 5 seconds for system to build pressure and pump to shut off. Turn key off, wait for relay clcik noise or 10 seconds. then turn key to ON again and wait 5 seconds to build pressure again. Then start engine. If it starts better, you have a bad check valve in the fuel pump or a bad pressure regulator on the fuel rail (unlikely).

Died while driving down the highway then won't start? We were going about 70 and it just died. I will turn over but not start. Any help would be great.

My first thought, is the fuel pump quit

That is where you start, or a repair shop should start

I do not like going anywhere near 70 mph for that reason,
& I'am getting too old to enjoy speed & spend too
much time making love to vehicles, to put them under
any load at high speeds or uphills
