Consider the following:
Transmission Fluid Level: Is it low? Overfilled? When was last Fluid & Filter Change?
Engine Cooling Properly? The Transmission fluid is cooled inside the Radiator.
Vacuum Line(s) leaking?
I own several 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL's and all have 150k plus miles. Still running strong. If you take care of them, they will take care of you. Worst case is the transmission is in need of repairs. $900 to $1200.

Coming to stop sign by putting break gear slips then return to park move to drive runs. second as i drive in curves slips but as give gas enough continues running.

Just to make sure I got this right. If you come to a stop, the car won't pull again unless you put it in park? Then, if you start into a curve, the transmission starts to slip unless you give it more gas? This could be signs of a bad torque converter, failing fluid pump (not as likely), or burnt/low transmission fluid level. Check the transmission fluid after the vehicle has been driven (warm engine), leave it running, and on a level surface. Check the level twice and take the lowest reading.

Sometimes the axel shaft backs out of the transmission on front wheel drives when not seated correctly. This usually occures in new transmission or engine swaps. I would take a look at the driver side shaft for fluid residue and shaft placement.
