When i have the air conditioner or heater on the fan does not blow any air out on the lowest two settings but it seems to work too well on the highest two settings,..... my wife has the same problem with her 04 jeep liberty... but with hers its the lowest three settings .... is there a cabin filter that needs to be changed ???
Sound like you have a bad blower resister some have a module next to the fan on the passenger side by your feet there is a resister that is inserted in to the blower box or black box that is a module that is inserted that neads to be changed
Yes, pull the glove box out and the resistor pack is right there in the lower right corner of the opening. There are 2 small bolts holding it in. It's about $15 and takes about 5 minutes to replace.
Rpm1998 sounds right...I had this problem before where the fan speed only changed on high and low but not in between...like he said you have to get up behind the passenger side dash from underneath...there's a black square that inserts into the side of the blower motor that needs to be replaced...mine had obvious signs that it had blown as it was slightly corroded
good luck!
