Hi can anyone please help. New to forum just bought our first Mercedes, a C200 auto coupe 2002/3. Lovely motor only 31k on clock. One trade owner from new - I think lack of use is cause of some of the problems Bought from a dealer friend so he will sort the problems we have but just asking if anyone has had similar electical problems to these and any solutions or ideas. 1. Drivers headrest stuck in up position- have removed from seat and tried to reset by pushing button up for 5seconds, still doesn't work. 2. Passenger window stuck closed 3. Intermittent wipers at position 1 on same speed as position 2 even when not raining

Could it be the key just needs re-coding? maybe you are worrying to much as £177 would be about right as that would need coding etc., Try phoning your local Merc dealer or take the key and V5 to them for coding (Hopefully)

try the door module. get the one from the driver side and try it on the passenger side . most common problem on mercedes

hello,seem your combination switch have problem,remove your under dash,maybe poor connection on wiring or your combi. switch defective,ty

you should check the connection to the main board and the connections to the motor for the wipers. these sometimes become gunked up, so when you pull them apart to check them clean them with sand paper or something that can scrub them like a green scratch pad
