P0302 Engine Code

1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, 2.5 L. V-6. 109,501 miles. Last month I had all of the spark plugs and wires replaced (they are supposed to last at least 90,000 miles). The car has been running fine, but yesterday the Check Engine light came on. Autozone pulled a P0302 code. My car isn't running rough, in fact it feels the same way it felt after the plugs and wires were replaced - I don't feel any difference from before the Check Engine Light came on to when it came on.

Why is my fuel gauge reading different at different times? sometimes almost full, and than a little over half full? filled it up it shows full. drive 7 or 8 miles and it reads 3/4 full??
The only thing i did recently was to change the spark plugs to the correct replacement of the new E.3 plugs. and that is when i noticed difference's?

I have a 04 sebring touring with flashing engine light. Code says #2 misfire. Replaced the fuel injector and coils but still runs ragged. What next?

Kimberly, Change the spark plug, if you have not done so. Check the links below for a long list of what could cause misfire.

97 acura 2.2 cl engine light p0302 code

A P0302 is indicating that cylinder # 2 is misfiring...Cylinder # 2 is the second plug counting from the front to rear of engine...Main causes for misfire are: defective spark plug, spark plug wire...When was last time plugs were changed? if it has been awhile I would suggest changing them...Also the spark plug wires should be replaced...Changing one plug and/or one wire isn't a good idea; change them all...Plugs cost two or three dollars apiece and a set of wires around $15...Standard motor products wire set # 4717...Spark plugs; Bosch platinum gaped at .044

1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible code P1495. I

Code 1495 = Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit

Remove the connector from the solenoid (should be on the back wall, just to the drivers side of the air-hat). You will have the solenoid to check and the harness. What you want to measure is the voltage coming from the harness and the resistance of the solenoid.

Turn the key to the "ON" position but do not start the motor; the voltage at the connector should be at least 10V or more,.now, check the resistance of the solenoid (should be around 35 ohms).

Hope helps.

Is it difficult to change the spark plugs on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertible V6

Yes. Yopu must remove the plenum, which means a new gasket.

The plug wires go down into the valve covers. The circular gaskets there often leak, so I would replace the wires and gaskets around them at the same time because it is all exposed.

My 2004 chrysler sebring electical is not working.

Check around the MAP sensor area for any connections that may have been disturbed while you were replacing the sensor. Most or all of those functions are controlled by the body control module. I would think that a fault like that would show on the scanner readouts.

Have a 03 pt cruiser with a trouble code P0302, stubbles bad and smells rich.

The P0302 Code points to a misfire detected on the # 2 cylinder. If its stumbling, I would first suspect the plug or wire is bad. I believe the ignition coil on that vehicle is a single coil pack with four terminals, so if only the P0302 code is coming up I would start with the plug and wire. May be time to do a tune up and just replace all the splugs and spark plug wires.
