Heater blower resistor is out. How much $ to repair and how hard to do it myself

if you locate the blower motor the rester is the wire that atachec to blower motor fallow wire till you find a circuit bord this is ur resistor

Under the passanger side of the dash there is a black cover which you remove with 2 bolts I think they are 6 or 8 mm. Once you have pulled the cover down you can see what looks like a round black plastic housing. In the middle of the housing is the resistor assembly. I would call your local parts store and give the follow info. year make model and a/c type ie; automatic (set to temp) or manual (hot to cold) hope this helps. the resistor is behind your glove box. open the box and push in the sides to release it and let it hang down...the resistor is right there. I didn't try to replace it, a friend did it, but the part was under $20.

remove glove box....its in the casing near motor.....2 screws and 1 connector

just remove the glove box and its right behind it just take the white pug out and the two phillips screws to remove the resistor out, replace with the new one and cool off!!!! Hope this helps
