There IS no fuel filter on a Dodger Avenger with the 2.4L PZEV....it's an integral part of the fuel pump. Remove the rear seat bench, and you'll see a black plastic cover on the left (driver's) side. Pry that open, and you'll see the top of the fuel pump and a black retainer ring. Knock down all the tabs to release the pump and seal, remove, replace with a new pump and seal, replace retainer rain, all is good. Unless you somehow get a lot of dirt and water in your fuel, the integral filter's good for at least 100K miles. By that time, your pump's just about shot anyway, so change it out then, along with the spark plugs.

Ok, trust me on this one, take the drivers side tire off and remove the forward inner fender panel. If you try it without removing the tire, it is just a royal pain.

ther is an electric solenoid in the shifter the fuse may have blown but if you have ever spilled anything sweet ,soda juice etc it will get sticky and gum up not letting it operate as designed check fuses first, if fuse is good then go to solenoid

It is in the drivers side fender well in front of the tire, it is mounted to the front frame rail. You have to remove the plastic fender lining to get to it.

it's DOT 4 or DOT 5 check with your manual and sometimes it's even in the fluid fill cap.
