contact your local service dealer and ask for a recall fix for this problem
there are a number of reported faults where the engine shut down for no apparent reason that resulted in deaths forcing VW to recall cars for the fix
from memory this has been happening for the last 2 year period
Call VW direct customer service if the dealer plays at being ignorant
1. Turn the ignition OFF. 2. Press and hold the reset button [1] (see the above picture). 3. Turn the ignition ON. 4. "SERVICE" appears on the display. 5. Release the button [1]. 6. Turn the button tothe right. 7. The service indicator shows: "---". 8. Turn the ignition OFF. 9. The system is reset.
music to my ears,YOU take your car to a VW dealer to get it on the diagnosic machine,THEN you take it to your favourite mech to work on it.the diagnostic computer only gives codes,it dont tell you whats wrong,so get a written report done.i am a fully qualified tech and i get my own done this way,as its cheaper.........(mickey mouse diagnostic computers only give codes NOT itemised faults)
As in, you recieved a lanp on the dashboard that says "service inspection?" If this is the case, it's likely corresponding to a major service interval, such as 15,000 or 30,000 miles.
I honestly do not know the reset proceedure for that lamp, but if you have had all major systems checked recently (brakes, tires, belts, hoses, fluid changes/checks) I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's telling you to see your authorized dealer for a glorified oil change.
the Stick
2 if all sensors are working good than check your engine firing sequence, some times happens when sequence was wrong,
3 check your exhaust and carborator tuning pin that creates the batter combination for firing in bore for batter performance & less emitions ,so check is it ok or not than go to your nearest service center that havad certified mechanics,
till you read this you had solve this problem definatly,
