I was told the solenoid may be bad, the car starts intermittently and would like to change it out but I am not sure where it is or how to do it

Could be misfire. You need to get a code reader to find out what the trouble codes are. You can then better know what to do next. Spark plugs could be the problem. They are easy to change on the four cylinder, and the V6 is a bit of a chore as the intake plenum needs to be unbolted to change the three rear plugs. Get the codes read! best of luck!
I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 , I'm having a problem locating the pcv valve. I was told it was on the valve cover near the fire wall. Is it located near the throttle body? i have to take off the intake to change the plugs so I'm sure I will find it then. Just thought I would ask someone that has pervious experience. Thanks for anyone's input.
