SOURCE: Cadillac Deville 2000- Engine check light code P0741

If you like go ahead and let someone sell and replace your transmission but here is my suggestion! Check around and see if you can find a minor vacuum leak! This can simply be the big round hose that goes from the fuel injection to the power brake hub! This is normally a push in connector which has about a 1/2 inch hose clamped on it! If there is any kink or the connector is not in correctly a leak will occur and the transmission will shift rough as though you will be thrown out of the vehicle! Try unplugging this connector and plug it back in hard and straight and maybe you will be lucky and fix your problem. If the vacuum is correct your transmission will shift better than you have ever experienced!

The first thing to do is get the codes checked. This is the only way to diagnose the problem.Because there is a module and a few sensors in this system. Not to mention lots of wiring.I can help you and explain the codes if you post back.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Steering Wheel Shaking at 50-60 MPH

I doubt these problems have anything to do with each other. The shaking steering wheel could be an out of balance or bad tire(torn belt),a bent wheel,or improperly tightened lug nuts(not torqued evenly). The check engine light will require a code scanner to see what the code is.(if you work on your own cars, you might want to buy at least an entry-level code reader/clearer,some are under 50 bucks).

Vehicle shakes at 40 mph

Could be alignment struts or tires. If it pulls to one side and your front tires are warn on the inside more then its most likely alignment. If your tire pressure is low that could also be the reason. If you hear a "clunk" sound or a knock when you are driving over bumps its your struts. I would check your tire pressure first. Tires usually are supposed to be at 38-40 psi for most cars and midsize suv's and trucks. Also using a different tires ( one or more different types or brands on the same vehicle) can cause this as well. And always make sure they are all at the same air pressure and none of your balancing weights have come off.

I have a 2000 buick lesabre and when i drive real slow the front end shakes real bad, but when speed up to about 50 it quits and will start again when i hit about 60.

OK, it sounds like you should have the tire balance checked on a spin balancer to verify roundness of the tire as it turns, visually while it's spinning, and might as well rebalance the tires. Verify that the tires are properly inflated to specs. located on the door, if so equipped. I find that new tires from Goodyear, Michelin, or Hankook have the best balancing when new and as they age. Cheaper off brand tires sometimes are not as round as the name brand tires. Good luck on this repair.

I needed to know how much air pressure was suppose to be in the spare tire on a 2004 Chevy Aveo.

If it's a donut tire around 60 lbs. It will say on the side of the tire. All tires are marked this way.

When the van approaches 70 mph it begins to shake and you can visibly see the stearing wheel going lft to right. However, there is no pull just shake. We have trie having the tires replaced as they were...

If the shake changed by changing tires, you may be close to the fix.Sure sounds like a wheel or tire or rotor is out of balance.I would have all of the wheel/tires balanced on a NAME BRAND freshly calibrated dynamic motorized wheel balancer.
