The jerking motion at idle or at starting acceleration makes me think of a dirty/failing Mass Airflow sensor (MAF)... or something related to air intake like throttle body, etc. Try getting error codes, It seems to me it would show a sensor error, either MAF or O2.

Make and model, year, engine, transmission? 2wd/4wd, ever been wrecked, etc.
could be drivetrain parts such as c.v. or U joints.
could be fuel system clog somewhere.
could be a bad sensor.
We will need more detailed information.

Thank you. I don't want to offend but the lack of info is a HUGE issue and very common here.

SOURCE: 1999 Chevy Silverado with clunking/jerking in the back

It sounds like your 4WD is still engaged and you need to have it serviced. It's common for the 4wd to get stuck in the on position with the button pushed to the 2wd mode. As you turn the front wheels are binding with the rear wheels. There is a vacuum switch on top if the transfer case on the drivers side that may have gone bad and needs to be replaced. You can pick it up at Auto Zone for $25.00 and $85.00 at the dealer, there is three vacuum hose attached to it that needs to be disconnected and then the switch can be un screwed from the transfer case like a spark plug.. Good luck and hope this helps. keep me posted, be glad to answer any question you may have.

SOURCE: 2000 chevy blazer 4X4. After driving twenty to

Are there any codes in the pcm?
There are quite a few things that could cause this;
Make sure the battery cables are tight and clean.
If you have a way to do it, need to find out what the fuel pressure is at when it is acting up.
Dose it miss at all or just loose rpm's and die, no matter what you do? (meaning can you keep it alive by pressing the gas peddle)

To me it sounds like your new fuel pump is loosing pressure while running for a while. But try and get a pressure reading and post back, that will give us something to rule out, or to address.
I think the light flicker you are talking about is just low engine rpm's?

When I let off the gas it jerks

What is the vehicle specifically? Jerking when letting off during hard or mild acceleration could indicate a problem with an engine or trans mount. More severe cases its indicative of a loose, worn, damaged drive shaft or pinion. If front wheel drive car, lean toward engine mounts. But to clarify again, we need details of your situation to help more effectively.

Grand marquis jerks in all gears 85.000 miles

It could be the converter is going bad or a sensor.next time you are driving it and it is jerking put your foot on the brake pedal, dont put the brakes on like you are trying to stop just push lightly on the pedal. This unlockes the converter.if it stops jerking you have a bad converter or a sensor related to it.

Overdrive light flashes OFF

When my overdrive light flashed on/off took to my mechanic who hook up the vehicle to his computer. It turned out to be the turqu convertor. Had it replaced and since the transmission was dropped and my vehicle had 130,000+ miles had them give the transmission a tune up. Now have 210,000 + tow a travel trailer and other trailers and have had no problems since the repair.

2000 Buick LeSabre - the rotors were replaced at about 80,000 miles and since that time, rotors only last about 8-10,000 miles before they need turning or have to be replaced. The mechanics don't seem to...

Who else has been driving this car besides you? Most of the rotors that get slight warpage is due to drivers that drive fast and follow close. Excessive braking and making quick stops then holding you foot down heavly on the pedal at stops will warp the rotors. They get red hot and when you press red hot metal it will give. The calipers are pressing the metal every time you stop. Excessive pressure on the pads while foot is off of the pedal may be due to the front brake hoses as the inner core will collapse and will keep pressure on the caliper. I have seen this a lot on gm trucks.

I have a 1997 trans port when u are driving it jerks and the faster u get the worse the jerking gets but when it is setting still its fine. when u go 10 or 15 miles it starts doing it so bad it turns off

You have bad motor or transmission mounts check it with someone stepping on the gas and the brake and have them put it in forward then reverse watch how much engine play there is or how far it travels back and forth if it's more than a half inch that’s your problem, if not post here and will give you the next procedure to check.
