To many reset of limp mode set hard no reset in star code system. needs flashed to clear codes and for new transmission. Transmission control module may have oil wicking to it making it send fault codes remove cloth tape and clean with spray cleaner. check turbo hoses, replace TURBO RESONATOR with after market TURBO RESONATOR . Turbo air leak trip limp mode's.

You must take it to a transmission shop, have them evaluate any codes stored in your control module, and diagnose the problems to provide you with an estimate to repair it. There is no magical fix when a transmission goes into limp mode.

You need to have it diagnosed. it is having a problem with start up. Guessing it only happens when cold too? Do you let the engine go through it's cycle before starting? Let the lights do their thing and the wait to start goes out? The new diesels don't like to be ignored.

Transmisson in limp mode
Disconnect both negative and positive cables form the battery, touch them together, reconnect and try again. Computer will take a while to relearn.

Permanant limp mode
Limp mode why? there is a reason why it is in limp mode.

You will need to have the computer scanned for codes, the codes will help in finding the problem. there are many auto part stores that will scan the computer for free. get the codes and let me know what they are and then we can go from there.

doesnt sound like a fuel problem....check the charge air hose on the lower drivers side at the metal ring....they tear loose there and check the tubes going to the turbo....the green o ring has been known to go bad
