Security Light always on, door lock fuse keeps blowing

When I start the car the security light comes on and sometimes it locks the radio. My inside interior lights will flicker and there is a clicking noise coming from the passenger side fuse box. My doors wont lock and we keep changing the fuse but it keeps blowing.

Rwojt is correct. Eventually your car will randomly fail to start due to the Passlock system. Design flaws in the anti-theft system and the BCM are to blame. After replacement of the Ign switch, Ign cylinder and BCM, the BCM needs to be reprogrammed. Repair cost was just under $1000. Even if you can bypass the security system at start with a remote starter installed, you'll still need the BCM and reprogramming.

My car's interior lights started flickering on day while the car was parked and not running. I noticed it from inside the house. The battery drained low enough so that the engine would not start in the morning.

This is most likely a problem with your Passlock anti-theft system which is known issue with these cars. Passlock is a "passive" anti-theft system, which means that it will disable your ability to start the car if it thinks there is a problem. The three components that can cause this are: 1) Ignition Switch, 2) Ignition Cylinder, 3) Body Control Module (computer). The dealer is the only one who can solve this problem (unless you can bypass it, but it is not that easy). Estimated repair from most dealers is $800 and up.

No check engine light is coming on!
it must key on, MUST, or the lamp is bad or you lost power
to the ECU.
I have a 04 GV with a 6v , do you? and what country?
thats right dead CEL is dead power and OBD2 tools will be dead
cant talk to a no power dead ECU, not now or ever.
If in USA it is in fact OBD2 car.
so if all this is true. check the fuses first.

The 2003 impala will not start / you turn the key and nothing happens. the door locks do not work / the heater does not work/ and there is a clicking noise in behind the glove box. the battery is brand...

no start and door locks are consistent with security system activation. Is your security light blinking? Are you using the factory key with the resistor on the blade? Do you have another factory key you can try?
Not sure why the blower would be affected. Does the radio work? If not, check the radio fuse inside the car, as I think it runs the blower controller. Also check the HVAC fuse under the hood--#29--this one affects the security light.
I think the body control module is behind the glove box, but not sure why it would be clicking in these circumstances.
Let me know what you find out and if you have questions along the way.

Is there away to override or reset the security system my car was running fine now it wont turn over and the security light comes on when you try to start it

to disable the security, make sure all doors are closed, and the key out of the ignition, go to the passengers side lock and unlock it a couple of times with the key, do the same to the drivers side.. most of the time this will disable any security that the vehicle has got...also just saw last week, a family member of mine went without a vehicle 3 days because it wouldnt start and had a security light on...i went and looked at it.. used the same key he always used, i noticed that it was a key that was duplicated, and not the original.. i had him get me the original, and the vehicle started right up... never done that to him before, not sure why it started doing it.. but the key had a chip in it that the ignition reads, and if the key isnt the factory chiped key the vehicle wont start.. dont know if your vehicle is the same, but its something to think about.. hope this helps

2003 ram 5.7 electrical problem

run a status check on the pcm. sometimes those probs are in the computer. the loghts will come on when the remote is activated, and the door locks should lock automatically when you start to drive. if that doesn'tr happen, suspect a computer glitch.

Saturn L300 2002-security light blinks, running lights blink,

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.
