Have heating in my peugeot 406 hdi when car is ticking over but when i drive for few mins the heater goes cold

did you try the spare key? are you sure it is an immobilizer light? what does the warning light look like, can you describe it? replacing the battery in the key will not help as it is not needed for the recognition of the key(this is done by an induced current).

very hard to diagnose these cars go to dealer and get checked it is the only way to fix these kind of issues
