Upon acceleration it cuts out, like it has no go to it. When it runs idle rpm runs low. Mostley what I notice is just loss of power, slow acceleration and cutting out when you hit the gas.

I had the same problem with my 01 eclipse... it turned out to be my ignition coil... you should have yours checked out... only problem is that it costs about 345$ or more... one thing to remember is that ignition coils either work or they don't... if the person who looks at your vehicle says that your igniton coil is going out ... they are lying and are just trying to get your money... good luck!

If you recently had your battery replaced, this could be the reason. I just had the same problem. Ended up that I had to have my fuel injection system cleaned. Cost a few hundred dollars when it was all said and done.

Check your fuel pressure, and see if your exhaust is flowing right. If exhaust is not flowing good then your catalytic converter is stopping up. Low fuel pressure would be because eather fuel filter, or fuel pump. Also check your air intake filter and your fuel ratio.
