IS THIER A AUX INPUT FOR A 1998 A4 RADIO

I need to have more info about how you installed it, did you use rca wires from the radio to the amp.? Make sure the sub setting on radio is turned on. Make sure rca wire are in the input connection and not output, also check you connection from radio that they're in rite place. I really need more info about the map of your wireing

cheap is an FM adapter but they are horrible bat sound quality

if your model does not have an auxillary input, they may mean that it plays MP3 CDs. if there is not clearly an auxillary input, there is nothing else hidden in behind.

Though I'm sure there is an AUX button on the radio, there isn't actually an auxillary port on a 2007 Grand Prix stock radio.I'm sorry to say, but you would have to get an aftermarket radio.

I'm afraid not. The best advice I can give you is to get a Radio Tuner Adapter for your I-pod. Most prople will tell you to use a Cassette adapter, and this is fine. However it sounds like you want the best sound you can get from your I-pod. The tuner adapter is the way to get it. You will get a better sound frequency range from your factory tuner than your cassette. The factory Head unit in your Sable isn't bad, just changing the factory speakers will make a huge diffrence. The aux is for the cd player, there is no wire in the back for an aux. But you can buy an adapter that splices into the back which allows you to use the stereo to control your ipod. It only works because you could have a 6 cd changer stock, so it uses those controls.
