I have had to change out my left front hub assembly three times due to faulty speed sensor code. However, this last time the hub was changed out the lights went away and then reappeared. Had it checked for a code and there was no "active" code. Only thing the code reader was showing was "History" codes. Tried three seperate times to clear the history with no sucess. Unhooked the positive battery cable for approx. 25 minutes and still the history code did not clear. Any ideas??

Take the battery out and have it charged up. reinstall it and you should be allright. Your car has discharged it completely, and it will need a recharge to start. The gauge is only measuring voltage, and not the status of charge.

It sounds more like it's the wheel speed sensor that is part of the hub/bearing assembly. Since you have had the hub replaced many times I would look for the electrical connectors for the wheel speed sensor as the problem. An easy no cost fix.
BTW...GM has issued a service bulletin for the hub/bearing kit that states NOT to use the old style nut that comes in some kits as it will cause premature bearing failure due to it's design and the high torque requirements. The correct shaft spindle nut part number to use is p/n 10289657 and is torqued to 178 nm. The GM bulletin number is 03-04-18-001.

alot of cars show a crankposition sensor on a test if it was bad car would not run unless you have a problem with car stalling or running bad when it gets hot not a ignition module if car still runs good not a major problem one problem would be a bad 02 sensor does not mess with car alot gas milage loss mabe slight hesitaion look at sensors that dont mess with engine if not 02

in each wheel you have a traction control sensor that feeds info to the computer. You may have pinched one of the wires. I also had the same thing happen and found that was the answer.
