Question about Saab 9000

Open Question

The high beams and interior signal won't turn on. How should I fix it?

I went to take my driving test and went through the whole mirror and light routine before I left the house (everything worked). When it was time to take the test, the high beams and ~D signal inside wouldn't turn on. Nothing seemed to happen when I hit the stalk for the high beams so I couldn't take the test. I've looked over the relays inside and out and none of the joints look like they need to be soldered. I changed all of the lights (waste of $40) and checked all of the fuses. I'm beginning to think the problem lies in the switch/stalk. Any ideas? I don't know how to go about looking at the stalk. Please help. I really need to get my license.

SOURCE: 96 audi a4 dash lights out cant resolve this problem

I have a 98 with the same problem, I solved it by ordering new bulbs (9 total) from

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/QQAudiQQA4_QuattroQQOEQQQInstrument_Light_BulbQQ19962001QQW0133-1642714.html

make sure you get at least 9 and replace all the bulbs because as I would replace the ones that were burnt out it'd burn the old ones out. The original ones are orange I believe. Some of them looked fine but were actually burnt. Hope this helps!

Check the Headlight Switch. If your headlights come on automatically check the headlight sensor and its associated relay.

SOURCE: headlights dont work on my 03 cavalier

hi the problem is the forward light harness there are broken wires
under the hood left side about middle of the transmission on the body rail there is a black connector with about 10-15 wires diconnect it then there is a ground wire by the battery with a 10mm bolt remove then remove the left headlight then you will see the washer bottle there are 2 10mm bolts that hold the washer bottle the harness goes between the washer bottle and the body remove the bolts then very carefully pry the bottle towards the left front tire enough to pull the harness up then remove the tape and u will find most likely green powder like substance that is corroision and there will be your problem also stripp the harness all the way to the right till the relay that is in the middle of the bumper and repair all the wire spices that is 2 or 3 wires into one i use BLUE heat shirnk **** connectors then tape the harness back together and reassemble ps. your can buy the harness from a GM dealer if you want also hope this helps you

go to an accredited auto electrician for electrical work
it may be a switch problem but I think that there is no power to the light relays ( switch or fuses)
if that model has a light control module , it could be that

No indicators working found fuse box which fuse?

When you are talking about "indicators" we could assuming that your are refer about signal lights. This work with "flashers" devices.

For 1996 Audi A4 2.8L SFI 6cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind dash lower panel, mounted above driver side of steering column.

About generic fuses, open the driver side door. Remove panel on left side of dash. Fuse box is behind panel:
