I recently bought a 5 speed stick 1997 Hyundai Accent. Its a two door hatchback and the gas light comes on but the gauge needle doesn't move at all.. I put some gas in the tank and the light went off. The needle reads close to 1/4 of a tank. I looked under the carpet in the hatch and could not find the sensor some have mentioned. Any ideas anyone??
Remove back seat bottom cushion to access fuel pump and wires ,the fuel level sensor is mounted to the side of the fuel pump module and will need to be replaced
