Hit a pot hole streeing wheel is hard to turn all indctor light are on

hitting the pothole --need to have the trouble code checked most auto stores offer this service to free --damage can be hub--ans sensor --wiring -etc need wheel area inspected but first get the trouble code

could be a bad wheel bearing , loose wheel nuts or failing suspension mount for that side

HAS TO BE SOMETHING LOOSE, BROKEN, OR BAD! HATE TO SAY IT BUT, NOW THAT IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY I BET THEY CAN FIND THE PROBLEM. TAKE IT TO A GOOD SHOP AND HAVE THEM CHECK AGAIN. IT COULD BE SOMETHING INTERNAL TO THE STRUT AND YOU MAY NOT SEE ANYTHING.

From the sounds of it, that pothole messed up your steering. Something is binding in the steering train, could be a damaged tie rod end, one of the other steering joints, or even the rack and pinion steering itsself. When it's binding, the power steering pump has to work too hard, slowing the engine down, making your lights dim because it's also slowing the alternator(on the same belt drive) and furthering your steering problem. You need to get it checked out immediately before something breaks and gets you into an accident. Remember, if steering linkage breaks, you have NO control of your vehicle, and it doesn't care if you're driving 70 mph on the highway.

Most likely one of the tires has a bad belt or out of round alot, barring anything being loose back there.

This usually indicates a problem with the suspension components. Check for play in front end suspension, 1st thing I would check would be the steering damper, it's often overlooked, and could be the cause. If that checks out ok, jack up and check for play in wheels, which could be caused by worn ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. A lot of possibilities, generally play in any components can trigger the shaking you're experiencing when hitting a pot hole or bump. Good luck!

If you've hit a pot hole hard then the wheel could simply be buckled. Remove the wheel and place it flat on the ground if it wobbles on the ground problem solved: buckled wheel!

Something is wrong with the front end. Bring it in for a front end alignment (that could be all it needs) and have them check for problems with front end suspension components. There may be something that is worn out ( such as ball joints, or tie rod ends) that is causing the uneven tire wear. There may also be a problem from hitting a large pot hole, or curb, which bent something causing this. Tell the shop to NOT align the front end if they find that some components need to be replaced, as when something is replaced, you should have the front end aligned, and you don't want to have it done twice.
