start in middle and work your way outwards,torque setting??you haveing a laugh,no self respecting mechanic uses a torque wrench,pull heads down first with speed key ,making sure the bolt holes in the block are clean and no oil or water in them.then the ratchet then the nice "snap on" bar ,has to be snap on for the right amount of spring.Then use the "snap on" bar to put the final torque on and feel the bolts stretching .If your a weekend mechanic then about 80lbs should suffice but retorque them after a 50 miles or so

Torque to yeild bolts need to be replaced whenever the head comes off.....Long bolts are 46 ft lbs. and the turn 90 degrees (1/4 turn) short bolts are 43 ft. lbs. and then 90

according to the manual Step 1: Bolts 1 - 8 to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.) † Step 2: Bolts 1 - 8 to 88 N·m (65 ft. lbs.) † Step 3: Bolts 1 - 8 (again) to 88 N·m (65 ft. lbs.) † Step 4: Bolts 1 - 8 turn an additional 1/4 Turn. (Do not use a torque wrench for this step.) NOTE: Bolt torque after 1/4 turn should be over 122
N·m (90 ft. lbs.). If not, replace the bolt.
