I just begined to see the white smoke comming from the left side of the egine. i thought maybe because to much oil or even the car was burning oil . As i begin to find exactly where the oil was comming from i did notice that oil was all on the hoses... Iam uncertain to what it is or caused from please help
SOURCE: blowing light smoke and burnning engine oil
Blue smoke is usually oil burnig related. White smoke is due to coolant mixing with the oil. (Head gasket leak) You should have the coolant system pressurized by a garage to see if your system holds pressure. This test will tell a lot. Coolant in the oil is a big problem.
SOURCE: 1st issue. My car has suddenly started smoking,
You might be looking at a head, or head gasket issue. White smoke is usually due to coolant mixing in your combustion chamber, or cylinder. Blue smoke is from oil. Your loss of coolant and high temperature might be the clue. A leak down test and coolant system pressure test should tell the tale for you.
SOURCE: This morning i recently changes
Sounds like a cracked head, or blowen head gasket.....Check the oil again and see if it has mubb looking stuff on the dip stick....also Check the raditaior and see if there is oil in there it will be spotty...It could also be bad rings alowing the oil to paas by the rings and burn off threw the exauist...
Best of luck to you.
