Top operates but struggles. Seems that motor is dying or there is a hydraulic leak

Replace the top motors or check cables from motors to top. There are 2 motors one for each side of the top.

there should be a alan key port on the drive motor/pump side that if you remove will allow you to put fluid into keep in mind that this is a closed system. The fluid should not need to be topped up unless there is a leak... good luck

If you lower the back seat you will see a plastic cover on the botom of the opening. Remove the cover (6 appolstry fasteners) to reveal a metal box. The box is not actually a box but a cover for the hydrolic pump. Remove the fscrews from the lid and lift. The resevouar is clear and easy to check against the two fill lines on the side.

There are two screws located between the 4 hoses on the silver part of the hydraulic pump. For whichever hose you need to take out, remove the screw next to it. It uses a T25 torx head screwdriver or socket. Then you can pull the hose out from the pump housing. The other end is connected to the cylinders, and that takes a 15mm open end wrench to undo that. Don't operate the pump or manually raise or lower the roof if you have any fluid left in the reservoir as it will push it out and into the trunk. The hoses run about $390 here in Ky so I am looking elsewhere for replacements or repairing the existing hose. Mine just came loose from the crimp.
