How do I remove the headlight assembly

the indicator bulb will be housed in the headlight assembly , remove the back cover to the headlight and locate the indicator bulb, it will either pull out from its fitting or will twist out

the bulb
or whole HL assembly.

Some car it is hard I did G6 took me one hour.You can get bulb or whole light out.

Depending on how much room you have behind the headlight assembly, unplug the wire connector turn the bulb 1/3 - 1/4 turn counterclockwise and remove. when reinstalling DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS (it is a halogen bulb) of the bulb when installing, doing so will transfer oils from your skin and cause premature failure. If you do clean the glass with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth. If there is no room to reach in and remove the bulb, the headlight assy will probably have a couple of screws that when removed will allow you access to the bulb. BTW the part # you need is 9007

You need to remove the clips that hold on the grill, so you can pull away the grill as far as you can. You'll need to partly remove the headlight assembly to get to the bulb. Small hands are a plus!!!!

There is a 10mm bolt that bolts into a cross plate. Unscrew that and raise the plate an inch or so; then jimmy the headlight assembly loose enough to gain access to the wiring harnesses. To remove, pull the inside corner of the assembly first and then slide out.

Upside down L shaped bracket that is bolted to frame just behind headlight assy. Unbolt bracket, lift bracket straight up to unlock headlight assy. Headlight assy should easlier fall forward to replace any of the 3 bulbs

Here's a photo - remove cap, disconnect connector to bulb, move bulb retainer out of the way & extract bulb - installation of new bulb is in reverse order.
If you want to replace the entire ASSEMBLY, there are three (3) 10mm bolts holding the assy. Remove them, then slide assy forward to access connectors - disconnect them.

which bulb are you trying to change? the headlight assemblies are removed by pulling up on the two tabs that are located under the hood just behind the headlight. The turn signal lamp is attached to the headlight assembly with a screw.

Remove the headlight assembly. Just remove the 3 bolts with a 10 mm socket and pull it out so you can disconect the wire harness. After that pull the whole assembly out and unscrew the bulb cover. The bulb is held in with a spring clip.
