He reviewed the torque sequence of the head bolts, There is spark, But there is a ton of fuel sitting in the spark plug wells. I didn't check on any ground wires. Where exactly are they? Motor only has 60k, however, the guys girlfriend told my wife that this is the second time she heated it up and blew the gaskets. He also had the heads planed which indicates to me that it was way hotter than it should have been. And if he shaved the heads twice, is it possible that they are buckling down on the rods and might throw the strokes off, or last, if he only did one head? Thanks, Mike

I had this problem too exept I have no clue what parts or blah b;ah blah. I just know that my coil pack was getting fried.burnt out because my wires were bad. The mechanic I went to was a moron because I took the car to him 3 times and he kept saying it was the coil ad kept replacing it. I took it to my uncle and he said my wires were in horrible shape and when this is the problem it fries your coil making your car run like a lawn mower! Well all i did was replace my wires and the car ran great! Well I hope this helped..

Here you go, I hope this is what you were looking for:
For 1987-94 models, the cylinder head bolts are tightened in 3 progressive steps. Tighten them in the proper sequence as follows:
Step 1: 50-55 ft. lbs. (68-75 Nm)
Step 2: 60-65 ft. lbs. (81-88 Nm)
Step 3: 70-85 ft. lbs. (95-115 Nm)
Let me know if I can assist you with anything else.

You need to buy the manual, because you also need to know the order in which to torque them.

usually you start at the middle and circle outward.
But they can differ. Some cars you always need to put in new head bolts. Others are done in several stages. This is too critical to take chances on.
If you really can't afford $19 for a manual, go to the library and xerox the pages.
